Using AB Tutor to Launch Web Sites |
LAUNCH a Browser (AND a WebSite) with AB Tutor
- Using AB Tutor, select Computer Lab from the "Connection" textbox center of screen. OK
- Select all computers in list in main frame of screen.
- From the top Menu bar, select "Application", and "Launch"
- Here is the really cool part! You can launch a specific browser or other application (program) by typing the applicaion name into the top box as shown in image above. (Firefox, type firefox.exe Chrome, type chrome.exe TestTaker, type testtkr.exe )
- Finally, put the web address you want that browser to open in the lower text box. Refer to the image above.
- Type hamiltonintheclassroom.weebly.com into textbox that appears, click OK
- Web Browser should open on all computers. Maximize window on all computers by hand.
CLOSING a Browser (and thus WebSites) with AB Tutor
- Using AB Tutor, select Computer Lab from the "Connection" textbox center of screen. OK
- Select all computers in list in main frame of screen.
- From the top Menu bar, select "Application", and "Close"
- Type *iexplore* , or *chrome*, or *firefox* into textbox that appears, click OK
- That web browser and all web sites opened along with it should close on all computers.
